colored lithograph measuring 12 1/2 inches x 18 1/2 inches, [33 cm x 42 cm], overall, 7 1/2 inches x 15 1/2 inches, [19x 39.5 cm] image size, an early view showing 13 keyed sites in the city with numerous sailing vessels in the harbor, original tinting, shows fold lines but no wear to folds, This view from The History of the World by Henry Bill , appeared in the different editions of Bill's history. The number of sites shown in the keys differ through editions, This is as fine an example as you are likely to find.

1 colored lithograph ; image 22.5 x 36.5 cm. on sheet 32.5 x 45.5 cm., printed below image: Published for the History of the world by Henry Bill, New York., Exterior view of the Crystal Palace at the New York World's Fair with people and carriages in foreground., lithograph by Sinclair, Thomas S. approximately 1805-1881, Philadelpia lithographer,printer, engraver, author, Thomas Sinclair started his lithographic career in Philadelphia ca. 1838 and in 1840 operated his own establishment. Sinclair relocated to North Street in 1868. There is a tear (app. 5 inches) extending from left margin at mid point into the image. It is a closed tear and can be repaired easily, I have not done the repair since the purchaser may wish to have it done professionally. No damage at folds. The Crystal Palace, an exhibition building erected for the 1853 World's Fair Exhibition of the Industry of All Nations in Reservoir Square (present day Bryant Park). The Crystal Palace took its inspiration from the Crystal Palace in London's Hyde Park, a similar structure constructed for the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of all Continents in 1851. The Crystal Palace was destroyed by fire on October 5, 1858
