CHURCHILL'S SECRET ...WORLD EXCLUSIVE Fredericton N.B. The Atlantic Advocate 1965 Paperbound Very Good 88 pages, the February 1965 issue of the Atlantic Advocate containing a long illustrated story by Michael Wardell, a hitherto unpublished account of Sir Winston Churchill's first stroke in August 1949. Wardell had worked for Lord Beaverbrook on Fleet St and was an intimate of Beaverbrook. Beaverbrook was a close friend of Churchill's and this 10 page story reveals a great deal about their relationship. Two lines in ink on the pate of Churchill on the front cover which is a study by Graham Sutherland. The painting hangs in the Beavverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton as part of its Churchill collection. Price:
