As an organization the Tuberculous Veteran's Section came into being in 1918, some seven years before the creation of the Legion. Formed to ensure proper treatment and recogination for tubercular veterans of all wars. Those who suffered from the disease in any of its forms, or were disabled as a result of other chest disabilities such as asthma, the effects of gas such as chlorine or phosgene, or physical injury by bullet, bayonet or shrapnel. This volume is an act of dedication by Legion members. Not easily found.
