(p.[253]-288) have individual title pages. covers detached, needs rebinding, one folding plate missing, portrait plate missing, scattered foxing, The S.F. noted as author of "An Appendix.was Samuel Fuller, schoolmaster and printer to the Society of Friends in Dublin who died in 1736. The front free has the ink signature of "Philip Freneau 1780" Philip Feneau, 1752-1832, New York born American poet, newspaper editor, sea captain, friend of James Madison, editior of The National Gazette,a newspaper supporting Jefferson and Madison which attacked the policies of Alexander Hamilton. He was also an innovative poet , indeed called "The Poet of the Revolution" This item is dated 1780 in Freneau's hand. Size: 8 Vo., 19 cm.
